HOW TO PLAY

Welcome to the world of NanoQuest! This is a world where, through the continuous abuse of nanotechnology, humanity drove itself to the brink of extinction. In order to ensure that such a calamity would never occur again, the last remaining humans destroyed all remaining nanotechnology. An order was given to destroy every lab and research facility in the entire world. Years went by, and eventually, humanity forgot about all forms of modern technology, effectively reverting to the Middle Ages. However, a secret underground lab went unnoticed and survived the extermination. In this abandoned facility, our story begins. Four heroic elements: silicon, carbon, gold, and iron, awoke from a deep slumber. Confused, they looked around and tried to find any clues as to what might have occurred. Upon finding an old computer, silicon, used his special abilities to bring the ancient machine back to life. There, they found records detailing the disaster that have befallen humanity. They resolved themselves to go back out into the world in order to save humanity from its current state- to convince them that not all technology is evil. This would not be possible with their current knowledge, however. They would have to learn about all fields of nanotechnology in order to accomplish their mission. And so, these four heroes embarked on a friendly competition as to who could amass the most nanotechnology knowledge, and eventually escape the lab.
